| Paris is a beautiful city, full of history. As I walked through it, I would see things and think, "I wonder what that is? I know it's something cool or important, and if I could read or speak French I could probably find out." Well that information will have to wait for another time. In any case, Ellen and I had a great time and it was a trip I always wanted to take. |
For most of our trip it was cold and wet. This is the day we had time to do most of our sightseeing. Climbing the Eiffel Tower (as you see Ellen doing here), and walking the Champs-Elysses' was worth braving the weather. |
This flame is an exact replica of the flame held by the Statue of Liberty in New York. Coincidently it stands over the spot where Princess Di was killed. There are pictures of her tacked to the statue as well as letters, and flowers lying in memory. |

| We stopped in the center of the Champs-Elysses' to take a picture with the Arc de Triomphe in the background. | This is one of the few pictures of Ellen and I together and one of the few warm, dry days during our trip. | The Eglise du Dome houses the tomb of napoleon directly under its famous gilded dome. |
